Job application used to be done in person. You would have to go from one company to another just to hand in your resume or to fill out an application. This typically takes time and of course, this also takes money as you would have to commute from one location to another. At best, you can send out your resume by mail. But this would still cost you more and require more effort. The good news is job application can now be done online. In some sites, you don't even have to fill application forms more than once. You can send out your application and your resume to many companies one after the other. Of course, you can still apply from one company to another by visiting each of their websites. What's even better is with the Internet now you can now view job openings from almost all countries. Some companies do the preliminary interviews over the phone too. So if you are interested on relocating to one city, you can apply for jobs well in advance. If you are lucky you may even find a company that is willing to pay for your relocation. If not, at least you are assured of a job before you head to a new city. You are sure you will have a source of income to maintain a good life there. More news
